Awww, break time

Like any other college student, I was stoked for my last final to be over. I wanted to throw away my notes for the quarter, sell my books back and head home for two weeks of stress free relaxation.

The fun thing about starting my break was knowing that my mom loves this time of year. She loves to bake and decorate and watch festive movies. Lucky for her, I like to eat the tasty things she bakes and look at the pretty things she puts and watch the corny movies that make you go "awwww."

I knew that my family Christmas tree would already be up when I arrived. My festive mother who has been cooped up ub the house for a few dats put up not one, not two or even three trees.... she put up six. Two with all purple and gold decorations, four with traditional ball ornaments, and the big one is decked out in teddy bears. There is a Christmas village in my living room and dinning room and kitchen weren't left out of the holiday cheer either. Walking in the door was like walking into a magazine.

My break has only been 3 days so far but man I have fit a lot into those days. I have probably eaten 25 of the scrumptious cookies my mom baked and decorated, I have worked three shifts at the happy place in Centralia, I have gone running, shopping, sat front row at Husky basketball game with my delightful friend Mr. Yates (a game in which Gaddy decided to grace us with his beautfiul dunk), and spent an evening with some of my very favorite people.

I love coming home to my spunky hounds and wiry baby cows. The endless tress and the view from my hill, the crisp country air and the cozyness of my parents house. I can't wait to see what the next two weeks have in store!
